March 24, 2009 - The Daily Herald has endorsed Mark Rising
for IPSD District 204 School Board. "Rising has been a regular at board meetings for several years and seems to offer
a calm but clear and perhaps even passionate vision for a more responsive district."
March 23, 2009 - The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce
Political Action Commission (NACPAC) has endorsed Mark Rising for IPSD District 204 School Board. NACPAC is “the Business Voice,” advocating
the business community’s concerns and stressing changes in laws and policies that affect their Members’
businesses. NACPAC is totally independent, autonomous not-for-profit corporation that is not
affiliated in any way with any political party. The purpose of NACPAC is to enhance the economic vitality and
quality of life in the greater Naperville region by carrying on political activities in order to influence the
selection, nomination, election or appointment of individuals who reflect the opinions and positions of the
Naperville area business community.
March 16, 2009 - The parent's
group, Citizens for Equal Education has endorsed Mark
Rising for IPSD District 204 School Board for
his knowledge of special needs. The CEE is interested in diversity on the
Board and is concerned with ensuring that students of every educational, racial and economic category get an equal education.
