Married to my wonderful and supportive wife Veveca for 15 years who
also works full time. We have two beautiful daughters who make us very proud every day. Alexandra is 12yo and
is in 7th grade at Granger Middle School, and Amanda who is 7yo and is in 1st grade at Nancy Young Elementary.
We have lived in Indian Prairie School District since 1998. I
was raised by my mother who struggled staying off public assistance while I was growing up and always stressed the importance
of education. I put myself through college 100% by working 2 jobs and was the first in my family to graduate from college.
After marrying my wife and expecting our first child we looked for a place to build and call home with wonderful neighbors,
schools and special needs programs (knowing we would have a child that required special needs). We chose Indian Prairie
School District and it was the best decision we've made as a family.
Living in Indian Prairie School District has been a blessing for the past 13 years. IPSD has enriched my children's
lives so much and for that I will always strive to be an involved parent. IPSD has allowed us to make lifelong friends
all across the district through various school and neighborhood events. IPSD has helped me become a better father through
my involvement and meeting and talking with amazing parents and teachers that make up this school district.
IPSD is a place I am so proud of and I plan on calling it home for many years to come.
These are the reasons I want to serve as your elected representative on the Board of Education for Indian Prairie
School District. I feel it is the least I can do for all that you and IPSD have done for myself and my family!
